Passive House
Passive houses have a very low caloric requirement for maintaining the indoor comfort even during the winter, with very low energy consumption. If the caloric requirement (lower than 10 W/m²) is reduced by insulation, the heat recovery by special ventilation systems, three layer windows (by windows 40% of the heat is lost), passive solar systems and other methods, the heating system may be simplified, and the ventilation system may distribute the whole necessary heat inside the building.
The caloric requirement is so low that the impact on the environment is insignificant even if we use fossil fuel (oil, gas, coal) as energy sources. In the warm climate areas this value can be very easily reached, but in the cold areas a thorough planning is mandatory! The project’s relatively high costs will be shortly paid off, and the cozy, healthy ambient in your house will double your satisfaction.

Fermacell/Vidiwall
Rigid plate made of plaster reinforced by cellulose fibers.
It is a variant superior to gypsum board sheeting. It is an ecological product, non-combustible, thermic and phonic insulator. There are many fixation modalities: self-tapping screw, fasteners, by nails or by gluing. It has a very high rigidity and high shock resistance; they are uses as supporting plates and wind bracing elements for wooden structure constructions.
It bears loads up to 50 kg/fixation point, meaning that we can fix suspended elements without additional reinforcement. The plate junction is very easily made by gluing with reactive adhesive, we do not merely putty the surface (avoiding thus the inconveniences caused by cracks of plate junction, horizontally as well as vertically); puttying the plate junction and different plans is not necessary.

Cellulose
It is an insulating material, ecologic by definition, being made of paper refuse treated by boric salts and boric acid. It becomes thus a fire resistant product and a very good insulator.
It is totally recyclable. It is installed by blowing with a special device, this system presenting multiple advantages.
We can adjust the density, thus obtaining the thermic/phonic insulation coefficient we desire. It penetrates any space, insulating very well even the small aperture. It is applied very quickly and it does not leave scraps.
